A very grand traditional hotel slightly faded in some areas, but with all mod cons. An Oasis of beautiful gardens. A very good location to access a genuine Spanish town. Close to a very efficient bus and railway station to access the regional delights. Will definitely return.

The buffet dining room was a shambles most of the time. The breakfast was standard chain hotel. The evening meal had a good choice and was excellent when fresh. There appeared to be a complete absence of management. Food ran out, tables very slow to be cleared and relaid. The reception and female restaurant staff were excellent but the male staff were mainly indifferent. The male bar staff appeared almost hostile and extremely unfriendly. It is a great shame and it could easily be resolved by appointing a competent restaurant manager/ess! In summery I would describe it as Grand Hotel meets Fawlty Towers!

We stayed for two nights and were very happy with both the accomodation and meals. We stayed on the half board basis and were impressed by the breakfast buffet, but were too late in the season for the dinner buffet. Very surprised to have such a wide choice from the dinner menu and enjoyed our meals on both evenings. Staff all very friendly and helpful and luckily spoke English well. Happy to recommend and are likely to be back.

My husband was a little disappointed that the pool was not warm.
